Celebrating the recent (non) end of the world, here’s a spur-of-the-moment green-screen test composited with After Effects.

I just finished 8 days of production and post on two HD videos for Dion Productions, covering Round 2 of the World Off-Road Championship Series. I was the primary Cinematographer for the ATV race and Editor for both the MotoCross and ATV videos.

Shooting in the high desert of Primm Nevada in rainy and cold February weather was a challenge. This was also my first full shoot using my smaller and more maneuverable Canon T2i instead of my mainstay camera, the Sony EX1. I was also able to put several GoPro HD cameras to good use capturing helmet-mounted shots during the races.
